3F、4F、5Fの通路にある３点の絵画。画家の堂本右美さんがGINZA SIXのために描いた《民》という作品のシリーズは、ご本人曰く「鮮やかな色彩が広がる風景と、その手前に浮かんで消える泡のような形の二層から構成されています。そしてそれは、見えない社会に操られながら、つかみどころのない世界にさまよう現代の私たちを表現しています」(『GINZA SIX magazine 52 interviews for GINZA SIX』より抜粋 → https://ginza6.tokyo/news/8476 )
にぎやかなショップからも少し離れた場所にあるこのアートは、気ぜわしい日常からも離れて絵を通して自分と向き合えるひとときを与えてくれます。

Artist Yuumi Domoto has three paintings on display in the 3F, 4F, and 5F walkways of GINZA SIX. They are part of her “Tami” series. She explains, “There are two layers: a vividly colored background, and amorphous shapes that resemble foam, both emerging and disappearing.
