Another week of groceries, cooking at home, and dishes.
Day 1: Endives au Jambon (smoked ham rolled around endives topped with bechamel and gruyere cheese)
Day 2: Sukiyaki
Day 3: Rotisserie chicken with a head of garlic and potatoes
Day 4: “Fragrant fish” eggplant with minced pork and dou ban jian
Day 5: Beef and tomato stew with smashed cucumber salad
Day 6: Steak, white asparagus, and mache salad
Day 7: Ready to order takeout for just about anything. But managed to fry an egg, put it over rice and slice some braised beef tongue and douse with soy sauce.
(A lot of you have asked about our bowls from a certain Taiwan beef noodle shop. My fiancée has been eating there since she was born and the store owners gave it as a gift to her. It’s our favorite bowls to eat in.)
