Decided  to dedicate my 'final task'/thesis to eating disorders in sport. More detailed, to endocrine effects of long term relative energy deficiency, more known as "RED-S in sport". .  I believe, they need to be treated and diagnosed differently than 'classics' clinical ED's. Even that some main, deeply personal drivers needed to be the same for disoreds to develop, there are many more factors and possible reasons involved in sport environment, which can push you through the limit ... .  Sometimes, even not realized it, or feeling 'depriviledged' of anything, as sport itself (or goals/achievements) can be such a strong driver. This is where endocrine 'changes' can step in a role in the process of diagnosis. .  ED's or disordered eating are (unfortunately) involved in our sport as in many sports in general. Good thing is, to see overall awareness rising. (but it is not my reason why  choose this topic). .  As professional athletes, top world cup competitor climber for over 15+ years, I have been there, live there and see it all, without even noticing it for a while. ... . I believe, they need to be treated and diagnosed differently than 'classics' clinical ED's.
