One of the ways to fix this is to become aware of your posture and to make a conscious attempt to correct it, but to be clear just thinking about it won't fix it. So ladies, I want you to think about how you’re sitting while you’re at a desk or driving or even reading this right now. Adjust your position so your spine is straight and your shoulders are back in alignment with the rest of your body. When you are in a standing position, stand tall and try to form a vertical line with your whole body - from your ears and shoulders through to your hips and ankles. Your chin should be tucked, arms hanging naturally at your sides, feet should be hip-width apart and your toes pointing forwards, with your knees straight but not locked. It's not uncommon that by deliberately adjusting your posture to be "correct" you can feel a little uncomfortable. There are lots of things that can be done to improve your posture, but the first step is actually recognising it. ⁣ ⁣ A foundation of fitness is actually looking after your body, especially when it comes to posture. Good posture along with foam rolling and stretching will help you perform exercises at your best.
