My goal is to make all of people leaving the bakery with a smile like her :) I’ve signed a lease for my bakery in April and since that day it’s empty and waiting to get transformed into a micro bakery. Formalities take some time though and I got so impatient that I decided to warm this place with some human energy. So last Friday I invited my neighbors for a slice of bread with butter and salt to introduce myself and the bakery. I’ve sticked some invitation posters around the hood and 10 Minutes after a huge storm came so I thought they all got destroyed and Noone will come. How wrong was I ! 30 minutes after official start a stream of people got in and for the next 3 hours I was slicing and slicing the bread, smearing butter, explaining questions, selling some extra bread, but most importantly - meeting my wonderfull neighbors. It was such a great time that I decided to add another sale day and make „neighbourhood bake” on Friday with pick up point in my bakery. There is still nothing in my space but I have a table and a piece of cloth and I have breadcave where I can bake the bread and It’s a good point to start making this place alive. So I’m starting this super soft opening from one day a week and I’m super stoked to invite my customers and letting them observe week to week transformation of a space into the bakery and beeing there with me in my bread journey from the very beginning.
