In their home country of Vietnam, this species will hide in basins of water with only its eyes protruding, allowing it to keep a close watch on its surroundings. This frog can also throw its voice up to 13 feet away - this in conjunction with its looks and overall demeanor makes finding this guy in the wild almost impossible. Having a well-rehearsed disappearing act is vital to the survival of this species as it is in high demand in the international pet trade.
