First, I did a talk yesterday about “Still Life and Food Photography; from Dutch Masters to Instagram Influencers” as a part of “The Month of Photography in Rome” (@mesefotografiaroma). It was an absolute honor to be a part of this vibrant venture, and to speak in front of (mostly) fellow photographers, lots of whom were way more experienced than me. #mfr19 Today I taught a mini workshop at Rome’s Fine Arts Academy (see stories), which is where I have studied editorial design. It’s always vitalizing to be in contacts with students in their early twenties. It’s a challenge, and yet it’s also a comfort, an exciting one too, to be on the other side of the classroom. This is a little something we did together and I’d like to use it in a way to thank you all the people who came to these two events, and those who honored with inviting me.
