Photo by @nicholesobecki | Seated in the front row of her classroom, 93-year-old Priscilla Sitienei listens intently to a lesson alongside several of her great-great-grandchildren in Ndalat, a village in Kenya's Rift Valley. Believed to be the oldest primary school pupil in the world, Priscilla is finally learning to read and write, an opportunity she never had as a child growing up under colonial rule. Affectionately known as "Gogo”, or grandmother, Priscilla worked as a midwife for more than six decades before joining Leaders Vision Preparatory School. She had even delivered some of her own classmates. Beside the entrance of the elegant, thatched-roof boarding room where Priscilla sleeps hangs a sign: "education has no age limit." #education #women #kenya
