Apparently, tomorrow is #WorldPastaDay, and the world — or its digital representation — is getting ready to celebrate its favorite noodle. It's amazing how the combination of two simple elements — flour and water — can in so many shapes, lengths and consequently, flavors. From the simplest spaghetti tossed with a few fresh tomatoes, to the most elaborate homemade lasagne layered with a slow cooked ragù and cheese, a bowl of pasta can make anyone happy, at least for a little time.
Here's some seasonal pappardelle (made from scratch with flour and eggs ) with fresh mushrooms.
So get inspired and nake some pasta tomorrow. Just do me a favor, avoid anything funky like a "one pot" pasta. It's already a super simple dish, don't ruin it by laziness for not wanting to wash an extra pan! ???
