Thanks @bigpowderdave for taking us to this beautiful crack. ・ ■Butterballs / 5.11c × Straight-forward beautiful splitter crack, from finger to off-finger size. Amazing!! I tried on TR at first and practiced to set gears. It's not good style, I think, but it's too scary to lead because I've had very few experiences of finger crack and the beginning of this route is difficult. I'll challenge to lead another day. ・ ■Beverly's Tower / 5.10a FL Approach pitch to get to the start of Butterballs. It was a fun! ☆☆☆. Though 5.8? chimney on the last of this pitch was so scary for me.... ・・今日はDaveの希望で、Cookie CliffにあるButterballs / 5.11cをトライ。恥ずかしながら最初はTRで。このグレード、長さのフィンガークラックは初めて。打ちのめされてきました。本当に素晴らしい内容。延々と続くきれいに割れたクラックと、いつでもスリップできそうなスタンス。これが1970年代にフリーソロされてるなんて信じられません。この旅のうちに登りたいな。・ Butterballsのアプローチで登ったBeverly's Tower / 5.10aもかなり面白かった！最後に出てくる、足下が切れ落ちたチムニーは初めて経験するちょっと広めサイズで、ガクブルしながらどうにか登りました。これくらいでガクブルしてて今後大丈夫なのだろうか…。・・ 1枚目: Butterballs 2枚目: Butterballsの上にあるButterfingerをトライするムトウさんとDave #yosemite #yosemitenationalpark #yosemitevalley #yosemiteclimbing #cookiecliff #nabiscowall #crackclimbing」10月21日 21時07分
