Did you know—Frank Lloyd Wright intended for natural light to flood the Guggenheim via a glass and metal-framed oculus, shown here under construction. For conservation purposes, the oculus is typically covered by a sun-filtering fabric, but it was uncovered earlier this year for the exhibition “Danh Vo: Take My Breath Away” (swipe left for second photo). #Archtober
