"The audience’s experience of 'From Creation to Extinction' changes depending on the performance location and environment. The work’s meaning also mutates with each iteration according to the performers’ actions. I am very curious about how people will react to the performance in New York. Which poems should be read? How will these be read and by what type of a performer? I hope the audience at the Guggenheim can generate a new meaning for this enactment of the performance." —Kim Kulim

"생성과 소멸작품은 지역과 장소와 환경에 따라 관객들은 그 느낌이 달라질 수 있으며 또한 출연자의 행위에 의해서도 처음과 2번. 3번. 여러 번 실연했을 때와의 의미는 변할 수 도있는 퍼포먼스 이다. 나는 이 작품을 통해 눈 앞에 드러난 결과로서의 현상만이 아닌 과정과 결과. 그리고 현상과 시간이 지나간 뒤 그 흔적을 기억 속에서 새로움으로 재탄생 시키고자 한다. 뉴욕이라는큰 도시에서 이루어짐으로 해서 어떠한 반응이 나올지 나 자신도 무척 궁금하다. 어떠한 시를 선택할지. 어떠한 사람이 어떤 방식으로 시를 읊을지? 이번 퍼포먼스가 관객들로 하여금 새로운 의미를 부여해 주었으면 하는 바램이다." —Kim Kulim
