@nataliewoo_artwork here again to wrap up the week and talk to you about fashion! The best part of creating fashion illustrations is being creative with textures and finishes. I start my fashion illustrations by deciding on color background and then the form of the model. I use a big round brush to fill in the background color then use my Sakura XS12 mechanical pencil to sketch the illustration.
The Pigma Micron 05 pen is my go-to pen to create the outline of the human body and I usually use bold color and varied pressure when I paint the garmet to create movement and interest. Here I also use Permapaque® Dual-Point Opaque Markers in metallic and white to create details in the background and the garment. #watercolorartist #nataliewooartwork #watercolorillustration #fashionillustration
