Photo @tbfrost | As we search for green anacondas here in the swamps of the Western Amazon of Peru we inevitability come across other significantly smaller but no less important snakes, like this black skinned parrot snake. It might be the most beautiful snake I've seen in person. In this photo the snake is in defense mode as he or she is threatened by us.
BUT just minutes later this stunning little snake calmed down and rested in the palm of conversationist @paulrosolie 's hand.
