Found another beautiful project at Mt.Futago in Japan. Many of my Japanese climbing friends have been to this mountain but I guess this white face is not known so much. There is only one route called Akirameruna(Don’t give up)7c+ on the very right side. And old bolts ladder from 70’s was there on the center of the wall. After a few days of hanging on the rope and checking the wall, I bolted carefully. I am dreaming this line goes!!!

二子山西岳にて、新たなプロジェクトを見つけました。クライマーであれば二子山に行ったことのある人も多いと思いますが、白壁フェースと呼ばれるこの美しい壁を知っている人はそう多くないでしょう。壁の右端には飯山健治さん初登の”あきらめるな”5.13aがあり、ど真ん中には70年代のボルトラダーがあります。数日間の入念な偵察の末、ついにボルトを打ちました。中央の最も可能性のあるラインを選んだけど、見た目以上にホールドが乏しい。繋がることを祈りながら、秋冬のシーズンを待ちます!!!
