After going back and forth as to whether I’d make the jump on the 5 Year Hobonichi, I finally gave myself the green light with it. At the time I didn’t know what I’d use it for but something in my intuition kept nudging me. I’m so glad I listened to that quiet pull as it is completely clear what its purpose is now. I will commence it with entries in memory of my dad and continue it with penning a favorite moment from both myself and my son with my dad’s ever famous question, “What made you smile today?”

I’m taking the next few days off to do the final preparations before we spend our time honoring my Dad in the way he would want us to. Thank you again for being an incredible community of kind souls and for walking alongside my wobbly legs this week. I hope it’s okay to still share the beautiful stories that I remember about him. They make me smile every time and hopefully will bring one to you all too. All my love and thanks. ❤️
