From my journal: …like a thorny creepy crawler that eats itself into a chrysalis and emerges a new creature with wings. It will never crawl again, only fly! Just the same, I will never crawl where I once was but where I was will be my food that lends a chrysalis to emerge anew with an ability to move in a way I never have before.

I didn’t feel like painting butterflies, so birds, even still, such marvelous creatures in flight.
