Today’s #ImpressionistsInspired artist is @cognissart who is sharing her textile artworks and her intricate making process.

'Starting with an outline sketch, in water erasable pen, on the fabric I paint freehand with thread. As the colours build I add texture using stitch variation such as French Knots for bubbles, Seed Stitch to represent splashing water and an extended Bullion Stitch, evocative of the twisting nature of falling water.’ – Alison Wake
