Today’s #ImpressionistsInspired artist is @cognissart who is sharing her textile artworks inspired by the seasons and their effect on the weather and landscape.

'Living in the Peak District, but originally a city girl from Leeds, I am neither a true local nor a tourist. Like the Impressionist refugees in London I see the area as a working landscape but also with the fresh eyes of a visitor. Local farmers cutting silage and harvesting are unaware of the fascinating patterns they produce on the fields. Pikehall Harvest is inspired by the art they create without even knowing.’ – Alison Wake
