Orange fronted fruit doves like this one at the Plzen Zoo in the Czech Republic are found in New Guinea. They make their homes in humid, lowland forests as well as mangrove forests. Their call is a distinctive, soft ‘hoo’ and they can be recognized by their bright orange foreheads.
