Love was in the air for this bull moose as he sniffed the air for pheromones from the females nearby. Pheromones add a secreted or excreted chemical factor that trigger a response from surrounding individuals of the same species. There are different pheromones for food, alarms, and mating, but this bull was clearly interested in the latter as he kept chasing his small harem of four cows around the woods.
