Ready for gymnastics? Dominique Dawes wore this leotard 20 years ago at the 1996 #Olympics, when the “Magnificent Seven” women’s team won the gold in Atlanta—the first time #TeamUSA took gold in gymnastics, but not the last.
Dawes also won a bronze for floor exercise that year, making her the first African American woman to medal in the sport. The three-time Olympian’s leotard is now in our @国立アメリカ歴史博物館.
