?Thrilled to bake Shiro-Ichigo Sakura Fruit Tart for a cherry blossom theme dessert platter.
Homemade tart shell with Yuzu cream cheese, Sakura sponge cake and Sakura fresh cream topped with Japanese white strawberries!
Happy to find white strawberries at Meidiya supermarket. Used Sakura paste to make the cherry blossom sponge and cream - colored pink naturally.
Plus a whole load of Sakura omiyage I got back from Tokyo to complete this platter for our #mehmehgang gathering.
They included the Sakura #baumkuchen, Sakura meringue and Sakura hitohira biscuit and pie biscuit.
The baumkuchen and pie biscuit were major love.
