? For #Oscars weekend, we’re going behind the scenes at MoMA Film’s preservation center in Hamlin, Pennsylvania. Here, MoMA Film collection manager Katie Trainor handles reels of “Rosita” (1923), a critical and commercial success which vanished from circulation until a nitrate print was discovered in a Russian archive and secured by MoMA in the 1960s. Recently, a complete copy of a continuity script surfaced in @アカデミー賞’s collection, enabling the museum to create English intertitles for this silent film.
