Watching #TheWiz? Seven costumes from the original musical have found their home in our @nmaahc, including Dorothy, Glinda, Addaperle, the Wizard and the Tin Man. There’s no bad news, because Evillene’s there too.
Led by and performed by African Americans, the groundbreaking production won eight Tonys (including best musical) when it debuted in 1975.
So you wanted to meet the Wizard? You can ease on down the road to @nmaahc, where costumes from the show will be on display when the building opens next fall.
