After living in Jackson Hole, and visiting places such as Mt. Rainier or Yosemite Valley, I couldn't help but pick up some inspiration from Ansel Adams. Almost 100 years ago he visited all these locations and more and immortalized them in his stunning black and white photographs. What amazes me more so is how he discovered all these places before they were famous and forever set the standard in landscape photography. So I figured after visiting Yosemite, I'd try my hand at attempting a black and white image of Tunnel View during a clearing storm. I usually fall sucker to color photographs, but black and white is always such a simple but extremely challenging medium as its all about the light and composition.
