In 1858, 25-year old #FranciscoOller went to Paris, then the center of the Western art world, where he absorbed the classicism and Realism of well-known masters of the time. Here he met the Caribbean-born painter Camille Pissarro and, later, Paul Cézanne, giving him entrée to future Impressionist circles.
