This grizzly was getting pretty close at this point as he approached me within 15 feet. Luckily I was in my car, but with the window down...and if a bear is hungry, that's not helping in my end. There are only about 1,800 grizzly bears left in the lower 48 states spread throughout Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and secluded parts of Washington. There are roughly around 800 or so of these bears in the Yellowstone Ecosystem and when you take into account the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is roughly the size of England, it makes seeing one all that more special. #grizzlybear #tetons #jacksonhole #bears #grandtetons #yellowstone #wyoming
