A second grade class recently asked us: "What's one of the smallest things in your collection?" Our answer: a tiny, fire-breathing Godzilla! An integrated circuit in our collection contains this example of "chip art"—microscopic doodling on an integrated circuit. Sometimes done to protect intellectual property, sometimes just for fun.
This 21msp50/55/56 digital signal processor chip was created by Analog Devices Incorporated around 1994.
