"Robert Gober: The Heart Is Not a Metaphor" closes this Sunday. The walls in this room are hand-painted, paint-by-numbers style, by two scenic painters who estimate they have spent a year of their lives painting this work in a few different locations. (The walls are disposed of after deinstallation.) According to Gober, "they say it's been their best job."
