Planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family to impress visitors to their mansion, this incredible row of interlocking beech trees has affectionately become known as The Dark Hedges. It's one of those photographer bucket list items when traveling in Northern Ireland. However, it is quite famous in another way as well. Do you recognize this from the #HBO series Game of Thrones?? This was filmed as the Kings Road in the first episode of season two. Arya Stark escaped from King’s Landing, disguised as a boy. She is with Yoren, Gendry, Hot Pie and others who are to join the Night’s Watch, in a cart, travelling north on the King’s Road. Does that ring a bell? In fact, a lot of scenes from #GOT were filmed in Northern Ireland. I set my camera on a tripod and a 10-second delay to run and take this #selfie in this incredible place. Photo by @magnumji
