岩井俊二脚本・監督による2016年公開の映画 “ リップヴァンウィンクルの花嫁 ” をamazon primeで観た。
( 恥ずかしながら実は初めて・・・ )
黒木華演じる皆川七海に降りかかる、仕組まれた数奇な出来事。現代社会に生きるという事の、風刺とも取れるメタファーを散りばめた、ある種のファンタジー ( ダークファンタジー)として描かれた作品は見応え十分 。
幸せに対してのコンテクストって存在するのかなぁ〜？ 最近 “ 普通 ” という概念の輪郭がどんどん見えなくなってきてます。
何はともあれ皆川七海は決めたんですね〜 いや 受け入れたんですね〜

I watched the 2016 film “A Bride For Rip Van Winkle,” written and directed by Shunji Iwai, on Amazon Prime. (Embarrassingly, it was my first time watching it...)

The film revolves around Nanami Minagawa, played by Haru Kuroki, and the intricately orchestrated series of events that befall her. It weaves a fantasy, almost a dark fantasy, with satirical metaphors about living in contemporary society. The film is captivating and raises interesting questions about the context of happiness. Is there such a thing as a standard for happiness? Lately, the contours of the concept of “normal” seem to be increasingly blurred.

Nevertheless, Nanami Minagawa made a decision or, rather, accepted her situation. Life goes on.
