Sharing the stage with Tanimura Shinji-san throughout my career has been an unforgettable blessing. His presence was always radiant and warm; a smile that could light up any room and performances that left us all in awe. He used to crack up telling me how people in the States thought he looked like Charles Barkley, and we'd joke about our twinning stage fashion.

It was him who inspired me to pick up the guitar again after so many years away from it. An inspiration, and a mentor—I was looking forward to reuniting after all these years. Rest in peace, Tanimura Shinji-san. Thank you for the smiles and the songs that will live on forever. 🙏✨
