Phoebe’s obsession with shy kittens

Anytime a kitten is shy or reserved around Phoebe, she acts as if it’s her mission to get through to them. She doesn’t force it, but she becomes almost obsessed with the particular kitten. She was this way with KitKat, Truffles and Baby. Eventually, those kittens came around and ended up being very close to Phoebe in the end. With timid ones, I’m always monitoring their interactions to make sur they are not overwhelmed.

Accepting applications for Vanilla and Ice. They will be ready for adoption after they are spayed/neutered next month.

They are both a little over 3 months old. They appear to have Siamese in them. They are both harness trained, indoor recall trained, and comfortable riding in a car. They both overcame so many health issues, including ringworm, coccidia, giardia, every kinds of worms, fleas, upper respiratory infections, and an eye infection. They have gone through so much as tiny kittens, and deserve to be spoiled rotten!

Vanilla is an “old soul”. She is very calm for her age, affectionate with people and comfortable with gentle pups. She loves being on our lap and giving kisses. She is playful, but she’s more of a lap kitty. She is not too bonded with Ice, her brother, but it would be nice if they are adopted together. Her adoptive family does not need to have a furry companion as she’s independent, and prefers people and a friendly pup over other cats. She can be an apartment kitty as long as she gets her mental and physical stimulations. You can also walk her on a leash/harness.

Ice was reserved when I rescued him. He has gotten better with being handled and carried around. He now purrs when picked up. He is very food motivated and highly trainable. He likes to play with other kittens, so his adoptive family must have a playful and friendly kitty or two, unless they adopt Vanilla as well.
