WAGASHI meets LEXUS

この度ご縁があってLEXUSをモチーフにした和菓子を作らせていただきました。

LEXUSの象徴とも言えるフロントグリル部分のデザイン「スピンドルグリル＋ボディ」をイメージし、メッシュパターンをあしらった練り切りに、流線型の有機的なフォルムで、走る喜び、疾走感を表しています。

I’m pleased to have the opportunity to create a Japanese confectionary with the image of a LEXUS car.

The mesh pattern on the kneaded dough is inspired by the "spindle grille," the design of the front grille section, which is the symbol of LEXUS.
The streamlined organic form also expresses the joy of driving and a sense of speed.
