青葉風、翠雨、手毬花、玉響…和菓子にしたい言葉【初夏編】をまとめてみました。
春に芽吹いた葉が青々と感じられる季節、和菓子と銘で、初夏の情景を感じていただけたら嬉しいです。

I created these wagashi around concepts of early summer: aobakaze (verdant-scented summer breeze), mizuwakaba (young leaves by the waterside) and temaribana (handball flower, another name for the hydrangea). Each wagashi and its accompanying verse are intended to evoke the world of early summer, when we discover the sprouts of spring growing into a fuller green.
