Hello from Bekaa!

Even though the situation in Lebanon and settlements they live in can be very challenging and difficult, all the energy and uplifting spirits of these kids are truly stunning. Their bright smiles and positivity bring hope to all those around them, reminding us of the power of human resilience in the face of adversity.

７年ぶりに訪れたベッカ難民居留地の子供たち。

やっぱり彼らの笑顔とエネルギーは眩しくって、過酷な環境でも明るく前向きに生きるそのピュアな眼差しからは、いつも逆にこっちがパワーをもらいます。

今回、彼らとビデオコールで話ができた「第三カ国定住」の制度によりスウェーデンに移住をしたウサマくんのように（元々この場所に住んでいて僕とも７年前に出会った）この子たちにもそういった未来へつながる機会があることを強く願います。
