My name is Saghar Setareh, I'm a food photographer and writer from Iran. I moved to Italy in 2007 and I've been living in Rome ever since. My background is graphic design and editorial design, but I have been working with food since 2014, when I launched my award-winning blog Lab Noon (the reason I chose this name was that I wanted something easy for people to remember, as my name seems to be too hard, something that had to do with a place like a studio or a "lab", and something to do with, and "noon" means bread in Persian).  My first cookbook, Pomegranates & Artichokes, recipes and memories of a journey from Iran to Italy, has just been published by @murdochbooks_uk. It will be published in the US and North America by @interlinkbooks on June 20th, in Italy by @slowfoodeditore in early Autumn and in Germany by @arsvivendiverlag also in early Autumn.  The book is about the movement of recipes, ingredients and people who make them. It's divided into 3 chapters of Iran, In Between and Italy and is filled not only with recipes and personal stories and how different recipes are related, but also my photos of food and travel.
