心を美しくさせてくれる茶道の道。
今月もありがとう。🍵
8月のお稽古は、はじめて濃茶をいただく経験をしたよ。

薄茶と違って濃くてトロッとしていて、お口の中に旨味と温かさがフワッと広がるの。

濃茶が本来の茶の湯でたてるお茶だったけれど、お湯ですすいだときに茶碗にお茶が残ってもったいない、というところから薄茶が広がったみたい♪

そして後ろにかけている掛け軸のお言葉。

『白雲流水清し』

雲も水も後々そこに証拠となる痕跡を残さず、元々は無心であるという、意味だよ。

和尚さんが82歳の時に書かれたお作品だよ。

This is the first time I've had thick tea in practice.
The rich umami flavor spreads warmth through your mouth.

Thick tea was originally made in tea ceremonies. When you rinse it in hot water, it seems that light tea spread out from the point where it was a waste to leave tea in the tea bowl♪

And the words on the hanging scroll behind me.

"Shiroun Ryuyu Kiyoshi"

It means that neither clouds nor water will leave any evidence there, and that it is originally thoughtless.
