モナコ政府観光会議局の日本事務所として東京オリンピックを非常に楽しみにしています。ご存知かもしれませんが、アルベール2世大公とプリンセス・シャルレ―ヌは二人とも元オリンピック選手で、アルベール2世大公は1985年からIOCのメンバーでもあります。
2019年10月、オリンピックに向けて、二子玉川でモナコとスポーツの深い縁を紹介するスポーツカフェを開催しました。10月14日の体育の日には、蔦屋家電で無料のヨガクラスとトークショーイベントを行いました。元プロサッカー選手の北澤剛さんとスポーツジャーナリストのフローランダバディさんにはサステナビリティの大切さ、モナコの魅力、そしていかにスポーツがより良い世界を作る為に貢献出来るかについてお話頂きました。
オリンピックは延期になってしまったものの、モナコの魅力を紹介しながら、私たちは皆さんと一緒にワクワク感を構築する機会を探し続けてきました。
As the Japan office of the Monaco Tourism Bureau, we have been looking forward to the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games. As you may know, both Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco are former Olympic athletes and Prince Albert II has been an IOC member since 1985.
In October 2019, we hosted a Sports Café event in Futako-Tamagawa Tokyo to introduce the deep connection between the Principality and sports. On October 14, Sports Day in Japan, we held a special event at Tsutaya Kaden, featuring free yoga and stretch classes, as well as a talkshow on Monaco’s connection with sports between special guests, former pro football player Mr. Tsuyoshi Kitazawa and sports journalist Mr. Florent Dabadie.
Though the Olympics were postponed, we continued to look for opportunities to build excitement together while introducing the charms of Monaco.
