現在ニュージーランド政府観光局では国内向け観光促進を目的として「Do Something New（何か新しいことをしよう）」キャンペーンを実施中。#DoSomethingNewNZ のハッシュタグを見てみると、たくさんの隠れた絶景スポットが上がっています。私なら何を投稿するだろうか…と考えてみました。

浅野は高校の修学旅行でニュージーランドに行きましたが、最も私の記憶に残っているのは、よく映画の撮影に使われる広大な自然、星空、動物たちではなく、そこに生活する人々です。3週間ほどの滞在でしたが、自然を愛し、親切で寛容、時間におおらかなニュージーランドの人々をすぐに大好きになりました。

私がもし今ニュージーランドに行けたら、きっとそこに生活する人々の写真をシェアすると思います。まだ旅行者のために国境が開くのはすこし先になりそうですが、またニュージーランドに行ける日を願いながら、皆様に旅への希望やワクワク感を届けられるような情報を発信していきます。

To promote domestic tourism, Tourism New Zealand is currently running the 'Do Something New' campaign. Looking at the #DoSomethingNewNZ hashtag, there are many hidden gems to be found. It made me think... what would I post?

I, Asano, went to New Zealand as a high school student on a school trip, but what I remember most is not what we often see of New Zealand in movies- the vast nature, starry skies and animals. What I remember the most were the people who live there. New Zealanders are nature-loving, kind, forgiving and generous with their time, and after only 3 weeks there I immediately fell in love with the people.

If I could go to New Zealand now, I'm sure I'd post some photos of the people who live there. It may be a while before the borders are open for travellers, but I hope to be able to visit New Zealand again soon, and we at Candlewick will continue to keep you updated with information that will keep you inspired until we can travel again!
