What a way to finish the year! An article from the amazing team at the Wall Street Journal with some legendary athletes titled
“The Sports Feats that defied covid”.
For me, 2020 started with a Taekwondo olympic qualification and has been an amazing year despite all the challenges. I’ve never viewed challenges as negative but as one of the gate keepers to your biggest goals and IM-possible dreams. They are a condition of living that we will all go through.
For those who had a tough year all I can say is keep going. There is a reward for you who persevere through adversity, sometimes it is hidden but it is there- waiting. I believe that each one of you is capable of great things in 2021.
To anyone I disappointed in some way - I will continue to work hard to do better, to be better. And to each and everyone of you who continue to support me as I bumble through life and sports I thank you!
My most valued treasure will always be you, the people I share my wins and losses with.
