As you can see, I was totally occu-pied 🥧 today! Made a huge slabby, honkin’ pie cause I couldn’t decide on just one flavor. Honestly I was lazy. Making crust isn’t my thing especially when ice cold water is involved. Am I handling the dough too much? Did I overwork it and now I have an unflaky crust? Is unflaky even a word? Too much for me!! 😅Anyway here’s my attempt at making pumpkin, apple, pecan and cherry pies. Made three batches of pâte brisée crust to cover this entire football field of a pan and formed little dough dams to prevent the fillings from seeping into each other. It was pretty damn good. Success! 🙌🏽
