It’s March 1st and I’m still making soup! Made arroz caldo because it’s arroz cold-o! 🥶 Used Peruvian ginger (very sharp ginger taste) new crop Japan grown rice, a squeeze of calamansi juice from mom’s tree and I must say, it was a game changer! Recipe below. Swipe to see the rice I used and the crazy weather (for SoCal) we are experiencing. Winds so powerful I was afraid the very tall trees would break, and hail that gave us a faux 2 minute winter wonderland, lol. ❄️😆
