We reacted to the show using traditional theatre techniques and styles and took inspiration from commedia dell’arte costumes with a modern somewhat street twist. To accommodate all of the dancing, pole, wushu etc the outfits are adaptable, skirts come off to reveal bloomers and cod pieces, the first look completely tears off for the quick change between hide and water me (it’s like 20 seconds). One of my fave pieces is the bicorne hat that @noelstewart made, it’s got plastic bags on it and they move so beautifully, twigs looks like a spectre. @edmarler who designed all of the looks is a genius.
