One of our favourite ways to explore is by foot, taking in the sights, sounds and smells of nearby neighbourhoods and fresh outdoor spaces. Here are some of our top self-guided walking tours across Canada:⁠⠀

❤️ Lunenburg, NS - This former rum running and ship building port town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it’s postcard-perfect painted buildings are perfect for wandering around with your camera in tow.⁠⠀
💛 Celebrate Indigenous culture at the Journey to Anishinaabe Knowledge Trail in the Royal Botanical Gardens of Hamilton. The trail spans 1.5km and explores Indigenous flora used by First Nations peoples, with information about the plants and their connection to culture, language, ecology and history. ⁠⠀
💙 Yellowknife - the capital city of the Northwest Territories is nestled between tundra and lake shore, making it the perfect place for adventure and exploration.
