Explore Canadaさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Explore CanadaInstagram)「I never owned a camera before 2019. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Hard to swallow right? I find it hard to believe sometimes too. I'd always bounce back and forth the idea of buying one but never really went through. But all that changed when I moved to the East Coast of Canada. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ The province of Nova Scotia, with its picturesque beaches, rugged coastlines, hiking trails, lighthouses, waterfalls and mountains enticed me to get out there and see it with my own eyes. Eager to know more about my new home, I made it a point to travel when I could and share my adventures online. After receiving some encouraging feedback for my iPhone photos, I knew that it was time.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Without hesitation, I bought my first DSLR camera. I took my new prized possession wherever I went and tried to use it all the time without relying on my phone. I was painfully bad initially, but this proved to be a wise move and I could see myself improving. My journey into the world of photography continued with the purchase of my first drone and getting my licence. I didn’t want to be “just another guy with a drone” and understood the importance of perfecting my craft and flying responsibly. While I've come a long way, there is so much more to learn. Isn’t that truly the greatest gift of this art form? The digger you deep, the more you find.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ I was never alone on this journey. One of the friendliest places in Canada, travelling and photography allowed me to meet fellow creators and interact with various local businesses around the province. This creative community was a great place to network, share ideas and experiences. I got a true sense of what the East Coast of Canada had to offer and made some great friends along the way.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ I find myself falling more in love with the view each day and as long as that happens, I will continue to share my journey. This is my way of giving back, by showing off my new home.
