富山は幼少の頃に黒部ダムに行った覚えはあるものの、富山市を訪ねたのはおそらく初めて。富山県美術館(たぶん)常設の名作チェアと名作広告グラフィックのコレクションは必見。昔、富山の工業化に貢献した運河の周りが広々とした公園になっていて、公園や運河をのぞむ景色もとても素敵でした。こんな良いミュージアムが街にあるなんて、いいなあ。

It was probably the first time I visited Toyama City, although I remember visiting the Kurobe Dam when I was a child. At the Toyama prefectural museum, the permanent collection of masterpiece chairs and advertising graphics is a must-see. The view of the park and the canal was also very nice. It's so nice to have such a good museum in town.
