Sponsored by the Gaines Dog Foods Company in the 1950s, this dog vest tried to inspire Americans to vote with two different appeals: "Be Freedom's Watch-Dog...Get set for Election Day" and "Vote as you Dog-Gone-Please—but Vote Nov. 6."
