After Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, The surrender of Imperial Japan was announced by Emperor Hirohito on August 15th 1945.
Today is known as the "Memorial Day for the End of the War” in Japan. In other side of the world, today is known as #VJDay ~ Victory over Japan Day”.

There’s no such a thing called “Victory” in War I believe.

My Anti-War peace poster “Peace of Shit” was originally published in 2003 when US started to drop the bomb on Afghanistan in the name of "FREEDOM" after 911. The image of flock of doves dropping poops
was inspired by B-29 Tokyo Air Raid at WWII. I tried to translate the message from nature to the dumb humans.

8月15日は世界中で「終戦記念日」なのだと思っていましたが、逆側の国々では今日は#VJDay 〜 Victory over Japan Day 「日本に勝った日」と呼ばれています。戦争に「勝ち」というものが存在するはずないのに。

【 PEACE of SHIT〜戦争なんてクソ喰らえ】 の反戦版画ポスターの絵は、911の後アメリカが「自由」の名の下にアフガニスタンを爆撃し始めた時に描きました。戦車に糞を落っことしている平和の鳩の群れ、実はこの図は東京大空襲のB29爆撃機の写真からヒントを得たのです。争うことを止めない愚かな人間への自然界からのメッセージです。
